Caulfield South Residence II

Caulfield South Residence II

The bold form paired with the dynamic interplay of materials gives our Caulfield South residence immediate street presence, creating a striking impression and hint of what is to be revealed within. From the moment you step inside, the hallway immediately draws your eye forward, offering an early glimpse of the alfresco area, framed by large windows. Underfoot, warm oak timber floors guide you through this inviting space, establishing the natural flow and grounding the overall palette.

At its heart, the open plan living, dining and kitchen area unfolds in a considered sequence. Expansive windows capture beautiful vistas of the pool and alfresco space, creating a harmonious connection between indoors and out. It’s a space that feels as open and airy as it is connected and calm, with each zone effortlessly leading into the next.

The kitchen is both functional and refined, anchored by natural stone that features throughout the home. This consistency in materiality reinforces a cohesive palette that ties each space together. A spacious butler’s pantry ensures the kitchen remains the heart of the home, catering to the demands of family life and entertaining alike.

Framing the rear of the home, the raised ceiling in the living area amplifies the sense of openness, while adding to the architectural edge that defines this residence. The connection between indoor and outdoor living is further enhanced by sliding doors that open directly onto the covered alfresco, swimming pool and basketball half-court. Large windows frame striking views of the pool, making it a natural focal point for family gatherings, especially in the warmer months.

The interior palette brings a timeless softness to the home, with gentle grey tones and layered textures creating a refined yet inviting atmosphere. A beautiful balance of modern styling and understated colour adds depth to the neutral base, while super white dolomite natural stone features throughout the kitchen, living space and powder room, providing and elegant and refined style aesthetic continued throughout the home. Thoughtful detailing like the panelled cladding beneath the kitchen bench adds tactile interest and contrast against the stone.

Upstairs, a feature staircase leads to a central landing that connects the master retreat and children’s bedrooms. At the front, the master suite offers a private sanctuary, complete with dual walk-in wardrobes, a luxurious ensuite, and tree-lined views of the street. Multi-zoned living areas ensure every family member has their own space while preserving a strong sense of connection throughout.
